The African American members of the Legislature, including State Senators and Representatives, fight against disproportionate incarceration of African Americans, for adequate funding of historically black colleges and universities and boosting state investment in minority businesses.

FLBC

The Florida Legislative Black Caucus, an organization dedicated to championing issues and legislation of importance to the black community throughout Florida. Priorities include minority health disparities, judicial and gubernatorial appointments, restoration of civil rights, just to name a few.
